Lower Blepharoplasty
Benefits
Lower blepharoplasty addresses the under-eye area to reduce bags, puffiness and excess skin that can make you appear tired or older. With age, the fat that cushions the eyes can bulge forward, and the skin loses its elasticity, creating a shadow and deflated appearance beneath the eyes.
Mr Thacoor tailors the approach to each individual. In many cases, the incision is placed on the inside of the lower eyelid (transconjunctival approach) so there is no visible external scar. Where skin laxity is also present, a very fine incision just below the eyelash line allows removal of excess skin as well.
