Lipoma Removal
Benefits
A lipoma is a benign, slow-growing lump of fatty tissue that sits just beneath the skin. They are very common and entirely non-cancerous, but can be removed if they are growing, uncomfortable, causing self-consciousness, or simply bothersome.
Mr Thacoor removes lipomas through a small incision directly over the lump. The fatty tissue is carefully dissected free and removed in its entirety. The wound is closed with fine sutures, leaving a neat, minimal scar. All removed tissue is sent for histological analysis as standard.
